What it is

A 61-key mechanical keyboard built on magnetic (Hall-effect) switches rather than mechanical contacts, wired single-mode over USB.

Why it's in the library

Magnetic switches register by sensing travel distance instead of a physical contact point, so there is nothing inside to wear out or bounce. The trade-off is the wired-only connection — which, for a keyboard that lives on one desk, is not much of a trade.
